This item is crucial for reaching the summit of a Broadcast Tower, using a combination of gliding across gaps and grappling upwards. At the tower's peak, the player must activate an elevator by retrieving a collar chip from a fallen Timekeeper. With the chip, the elevator is operable, leading to a reunion with Claptrap. The mission concludes with assisting Claptrap in accessing a Resistance Safehouse, where the player gathers safehouse codes from interactive elements to initiate a broadcast. Completing "Recruitment Drive" rewards the player with experience points, money, and an Epic Shield, unlocking the next quest, "Down and Outbound."
