Stolen, these "Leggies" become the focus of the mission, which unlocks after completing the fifth main story quest, "One Fell Swoop." The initial objective requires players to ascend a lighthouse, employing their climbing and grappling skills. At the summit, a cutscene reveals a winged creature, "The Beastie," making off with the coveted "Leggies." This triggers a thrilling chase sequence, often involving vehicles, culminating in a boss battle against "The Beastie." Upon defeating the creature, players retrieve the "Leggies," which then embark on a perilous journey back to Topper. The final stage is an escort mission, where players must protect the "Leggies" from enemies as they autonomously return. These "Leggies" aren't entirely helpless, however, as they actively participate in combat with spinning and dive attacks. Successfully returning the "Leggies" to Topper, who then reattaches them, concludes the mission. Completing "Gone Are My Leggies" rewards players with a sniper rifle, money, experience, Eridium, and a unique vehicle paint job, and it also serves as a prerequisite for the subsequent mission, "To the Limb It."
