Upon reaching the summit, the mystery is resolved in classic Borderlands fashion: the scout isn't in danger, but is found in a cave in a state of extreme, "ancient herbal tradition"-induced relaxation. The comedic reveal of their "way too chill" state, having neglected their duties due to this pleasant oblivion, is soon interrupted by a raid from local "creeps." After dispatching the attackers, the unfazed scout provides the necessary power cell for the tracking device.
