As a huge fan of the movie, I was excited to see how the game would bring the beloved characters and their super powers to life. First off, the graphics in this game are top-notch. The vibrant colors and detailed animations made it feel like I was actually in the world of The Incredibles. And let me just say, the Parr family looks even more incredible (see what I did there?) in high definition. But let's get to the gameplay. The game takes you through different levels based on scenes from the movie, and you get to play as each member of the family, using their unique powers to complete challenges and defeat the bad guys. I have to admit, playing as Mr. Incredible and using his super strength to throw cars and objects around was incredibly satisfying. And who wouldn't want to be able to stretch like Elastigirl or turn invisible like Violet? The game really allows you to feel like a superhero and that's just plain awesome. But what really sets this game apart is the addition of the RUSH mode. This mode allows you to race through the levels and complete challenges against the clock. It's fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping, and oh so much fun! It definitely gave me a rush (pun intended) and kept me on the edge of my seat as I tried to beat my own record time. Now, let's talk about the humor in this game. The Incredibles is known for its witty and humorous dialogue, and the game does not disappoint in that department. From Mr. Incredible's dad jokes to Edna Mode's sassy remarks, I found myself laughing out loud throughout the entire game. And the cutscenes in between levels were just as entertaining as the gameplay itself. But I have to say, the highlight of the game for me was playing as Jack-Jack. That little ball of cuteness may be a baby, but he packs a powerful punch (literally). Seeing him use his various powers, from laser eyes to shape-shifting, had me cracking up. I mean, who knew a baby could be such a badass superhero? In conclusion, The Incredibles in RUSH: A Disney • PIXAR Adventure is a must-play for any fan of the movie. It perfectly captures the essence of the characters and their powers, while also adding a fun and challenging element with the RUSH mode.
