Growing Up is a level found within the second chapter of World of Goo 2, set on a floating island that was once the Beauty Generator from the first game. When exposed to liquid, the strands of a Grow Goo structure expand dramatically and permanently, creating large, solid bridges and formations. This level is specifically designed as a tutorial, teaching players how to utilize this liquid-activated expansion mechanic. Like other levels in World of Goo 2, "Growing Up" offers optional challenges known as OCDs. For this particular level, players can strive for completion distinctions by collecting 9 or more goo balls, finishing within 18 seconds, or using a maximum of three moves.
