The Varkid Ranch Observatory in Tundra Express is a good location, offering a tunnel where the Mutated Badass Varkids cannot enter, although their ranged attacks can occasionally pose a threat. Once the required samples are collected by defeating the mutated creatures, the mission concludes upon returning them to Sir Hammerlock. He muses on nature's unpredictability and the need to eliminate these new threats. Rewards include money, experience points, and a green submachine gun, with higher values in True Vault Hunter Mode.
