Auger desperately pleads for the Vault Hunter to rescue his missing brother and other survivors from an Order camp. Upon reaching the camp, players engage in signature Borderlands combat, clearing out guards and discovering the Order's horrific experimentation on the populace. This reveals a darker undercurrent to the Timekeeper’s reign. The mission culminates in the rescue of one of Auger’s companions, who tragically informs the player that Auger’s brother did not survive. However, his final moments were spent creating a diversion, a heroic act of defiance that allowed others to escape. Delivering this news to Auger brings a somber closure, as he finds solace knowing his brother died a hero.
