The initial task involves collecting a special fruit from treacherous cliffs, a chore made more challenging by the presence of kratch enemies, with an optional objective to tackle a tougher "Badass" variant for enhanced rewards. Upon returning with the fruit, Ole Shammy sends the player on another errand: to find a "red geyser nugget." This requires locating a geyser, triggering its eruption, and then retrieving the specific nugget from the resulting debris. The final ingredient needed are mangler scent glands, which involves hunting down and defeating several of the hostile mangler creatures. With all components secured, Ole Shammy brews his "miracle cure." The mission culminates with the player delivering this potent mixture to a group of boisterous partygoers. After adding the cure to their beer, the player is instructed to shoot the keg, dousing the revelers. This predictably leads to a violent confrontation, as the now-sobered individuals turn hostile, requiring the player to eliminate them to complete the quest.
