This necessitates a sea voyage, and to secure passage, a ship must be blessed by a bard. With the resident bard gone, the quest leads to the Weepwild Dankness to find a "half-bard" named Torgue. Before reaching him, a bizarre, giant cheesy snack blocks the path, requiring a dungeon delve to retrieve a key. This quirky obstacle perfectly captures the chapter's blend of humor and adventure. In the Weepwild Dankness, Torgue, a half-bard, half-barbarian, struggles with a lute corrupted by crystal thorns, a manifestation of the Dragon Lord's dark influence. The Fatemaker aids Torgue by battling waves of skeletal enemies and destroying these corruption thorns, gradually restoring his musical prowess. The chapter culminates in a challenging boss fight against the Banshee in the Heart of the Forest. Upon her defeat, a freed Fairy Punchfather offers a parting word. Successfully completing this chapter rewards the Fatemaker with a new melee weapon and, most importantly, unlocks the crucial third weapon slot, preparing them for the perilous journey across the ocean.
