To fake his way to blacksmithing success by passing off stolen goods as his own creations. The quest kicks off with Claptrap needing the player to gather iron ore scraps, which they then humorously attempt to forge into something impressive, with predictably underwhelming results. Realizing his own limitations, Claptrap then dispatches the player to acquire pre-made "magical" items. This involves a trek to the Mountain of Despair to retrieve Kjaro's Ring of Fire Dancing and a visit to the Ice Caverns for Runald's Cloak of Frost Resistance. These items, interestingly, are named as a nod to characters from another game, *Risk of Rain 2*, with elemental ties that mirror their in-game effects. Upon returning the purloined treasures, Claptrap presents them to Master Tonhammer, who, predictably, recognizes his own handiwork. This leads to a boss fight against Tonhammer himself. Defeating him and speaking to Claptrap concludes the quest, rewarding the player with experience, gold, and the unique melee weapon, "Frostbite," a fittingly named weapon that combines ice damage with a fiery status effect.
