Upon entering the Abyss, the Fatemaker encounters Ksara, a Coiled priestess who, despite the skepticism of her companions, offers crucial assistance. She provides a cipher to decipher ancient texts and guides the player through a ritual involving a special fiery fish, the Magical Emberjack, needed to open the Temple of Sacrifice. This ritual culminates in the revelation of the Dragon Lord's corrupting influence on Ksara, leading to a confrontation with her "maddened sisters." Just as the Fatemaker believes Ksara is an ally, Tiny Tina, in her role as Bunker Master, dramatically decides to eliminate her, opening a path to the climactic boss of the chapter. The boss is Dry'l, a formidable foe encountered in three distinct phases, each testing the player's ability to adapt their elemental damage strategies to overcome his evolving defenses and attacks, from chain-wielding to shock and fire-based assaults.
