SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY!
ລາຍລະອຽດ
"South Park: Snow Day!" is a fun, cooperative action-adventure game with roguelike elements, departing from its RPG predecessors. Players again become the "New Kid," joining Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny in a fantasy-themed snow-day war. The game's core idea is a massive blizzard canceling school, leading to an epic make-believe war among the kids, with the New Kid trying to figure out why the snow keeps falling.
Chapter 1, "Stark's Pond," immediately throws you into the snowy chaos. A huge blizzard has hit South Park, freezing Stark's Pond solid and, more importantly, school's out! For the kids, this is party time. You, as the New Kid, are briefed by Cartman. He explains that new rules, a card system to keep things fair, have been put in place because you got too OP in past games. This has caused rifts between kid factions. Cartman’s humans are alerted that Kyle’s elves are massing near Stark’s Pond for an attack on their base, Kupa Keep. Your first mission is to launch a preemptive strike.
The trip to Stark's Pond is your tutorial. You'll fight waves of elves using both close-up and ranged attacks, plus special abilities you can upgrade with cards. These cards can give you big advantages, and leaders like Kyle can use "Bullshit" cards to cheat a bit, like upgrading a basic elf. You'll find currency (toilet paper!) and healing items (Cheesy Poofs). Jimmy Valmer shows up after fights to sell you new upgrade cards.
A big part of this chapter is rescuing Randy Marsh, Stan’s dad, frozen in ice at the pond. You need to find keys and a gas can to power a gnomish war wagon to smash through the ice. This means fighting more elves in tight spots to get those items. Once free, Randy gives you a clue about Kyle before comically excusing himself.
The chapter's climax is your boss fight against Kyle, the Elf King, at Overlook Point. He’s a tough first boss, using nature attacks, teleporting, and summoning roots to trap you. Your best bet is to use status effects like bleeding or poison. After you defeat him, it’s revealed Kyle wasn’t planning an attack but wanted to confront Stan, who he suspects is causing the endless blizzard. This twist sets up the real mystery of the game, moving beyond just a human vs. elves fight to the cause of the supernatural snowstorm.
