Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is a first-person shooter that fills in the gaps between Borderlands and Borderlands 2, tellin' the story of how Handsome Jack became the bad guy we all know and love to hate. It’s set on Pandora’s moon, Elpis, and the Hyperion space station, and it keeps the series’ signature funny style and cel-shaded look. A big new thing is the low gravity, makin’ jumps higher and farther, and you gotta keep an eye on your oxygen with Oz kits. They also added new cryo and laser weapons, makin’ combat even crazier. You can play as four new characters: Athena, Wilhelm, Nisha, and Claptrap, each with their own cool skills. It’s best played with friends, as you team up to face the moon’s dangers and Jack's rise to power. Chapter 9, "Watch Your Step," really kicks things up a notch. It’s all about tryin' to stop Colonel Zarpedon's superweapon, the Eye of Helios. First, you and Jack try to shut it down remotely, which means going through the creepy, sealed-off Veins of Helios. This is where you meet the "Infected," former workers turned zombie-like mutants, who are super nasty and come at you in swarms. It’s pretty scary, and they sometimes fight the Lost Legion guys, makin’ things real messy. But that plan goes south because Zarpedon locks you out. So, Jack comes up with an even wilder idea: blow a hole in the station to get to the weapon’s core. This means heading outside to blow up two big plasma conduits. You gotta fight your way through lots of Lost Legion soldiers in these tall towers. The low gravity makes fighting a bit different, but you gotta be careful not to fall off. After you destroy all the parts, you get out of the way, and Jack blows the place up, makin’ a new path to the Eye. This chapter really shows how ruthless Jack is gettin’, and it sets you up for the big fight ahead. It also hints at some dark stuff goin’ on behind the scenes at Hyperion.
