Borderlands 4

ລາຍລະອຽດ

Borderlands 4, the eagerly awaited addition to the beloved looter-shooter franchise, launched in September 2025, transporting players to the alien world of Kairos. Six years after the events of Borderlands 3, a new band of Vault Hunters lands on this ancient planet, seeking its fabled Vault and joining the fight against the tyrannical Timekeeper and his synthetic forces. The journey begins after Pandora’s moon, Elpis, is mysteriously relocated, exposing Kairos and its ruler to a new threat. Players must unite with the Crimson Resistance to liberate Kairos, choosing from four distinct Vault Hunters: Rafa the Exo-Soldier, Harlowe the Gravitar, Amon the Forgeknight, and Vex the Siren, each with unique abilities and skill trees. The game boasts a seamless, open-world experience across Kairos’s four regions, enhanced traversal options, and the signature looter-shooter mayhem. Among the many challenges on Kairos lies Voraxis, the Quake Thresher, a colossal optional boss guarding valuable legendary loot. Found within the Fadefields’ Coastal Bonescape, accessing this monstrous Thresher requires completing the "Shadow of the Mountain" story mission, which unlocks the Abandoned Auger Mines. Voraxis awaits at the end of Timid Kyle's Neglected Opening, a treacherous mine on a lake's southern bank. This titanic foe tests a Vault Hunter's reflexes with devastating melee lunges, powerful bites, and jaw swipes. Maintaining distance is key, as is exploiting moments when Voraxis tunnels and emerges from the ground, exposing vulnerable body parts for critical hits, especially its eyes. Regular Threshers will spawn to assist, and it's wise to leave at least one alive at low health for a potential Second Wind. Voraxis also hurls molten boulders that explode on impact, demanding constant mobility. Given its flesh health bar, incendiary weapons are particularly effective. Defeating Voraxis yields legendary gear like the "Darkbeast" SMG, the "Potato Thrower IV" assault rifle, and the "Buoy" grenade mod, along with the "Parley" legendary SMG effect. For those dedicated to acquiring ideal drops, Voraxis can be repeatedly farmed using Moxxi's Big Encore Machine, allowing continuous challenges and the pursuit of ultimate loot.
