Borderlands 4

ລາຍລະອຽດ

Borderlands 4, an eagerly awaited entry in the beloved looter-shooter series, has landed on September 12, 2025, bringing players to the new, ancient planet of Kairos. Six years after Pandora's moon, Elpis, was moved, revealing this hidden world, players are thrust into a conflict against the tyrannical Timekeeper and his robotic forces. As fresh Vault Hunters, the mission is to aid the Crimson Resistance in liberating Kairos, seeking its legendary Vault along the way. The game introduces four new playable characters: Rafa the Exo-Soldier, Harlowe the Gravitar, Amon the Forgeknight, and Vex the Siren, each with distinct abilities to carve their own path through the mayhem. Among the myriad of side quests that enrich the expansive, seamless open world of Kairos, the "All Charged Up" mission stands out as a prime example of the Borderlands experience. This quest, available after completing "Null and Void," tasks players with helping the Outbounders, a faction desperate to flee Kairos. The core of the mission revolves around repairing a newly acquired, but broken, warp drive. Rhodes, an NPC found in The Fadefields, initiates this crucial endeavor. The mission's progression is a classic Borderlands blend of action and objective-based gameplay. Players must first escort and protect an implosion drive, pushing it onto a loader before meeting the Outbounders at an Order hydroplant. Clearing the area of enemies is key to opening a loading bay, after which the player guides the implosion device through the hydroplant, fending off constant enemy assaults. Navigating the hydroplant involves unlocking elevators and reaching the reservoir, where three reactor components must be located and installed to bring the system online. This culminates in a thrilling defense sequence, protecting the implosion drive from overwhelming enemy waves. The final confrontation sees players following the drive to a lower level to face off against the formidable boss, Sludgemaw. Upon successfully completing "All Charged Up," players are handsomely rewarded with a new shield, valuable in-game currency, experience points to further their character's development, and a unique cosmetic item: the "Out of Bounds" ECHO-4 paintjob. This side mission perfectly encapsulates the Borderlands formula, weaving together exploration, intense combat, and character progression into a self-contained narrative that adds depth to the lore of Kairos and its desperate inhabitants. It's missions like these that make the journey on Kairos so compelling.
