There's Rafa, all decked out in an exo-suit, ready to slice and dice. Then there's Harlowe, messing with gravity like it's her job – which, I guess, it is. Amon's all about getting up close and personal, a real melee menace. And Vex, our new Siren, she's got that phase energy magic, conjuring up trouble. Don't worry though, your old favorites like Moxxi and Claptrap are still around to dish out the jokes and the loot. They're talking about a "seamless" world this time. No more loading screens as you bounce around Kairos' four regions. They've even thrown in a grappling hook, gliding, climbing – basically, making us feel like super-powered parkour experts. And the weather's gonna do its own thing, day and night cycles, all that to make Kairos feel alive. Now, about this "And Welcome to the Jam" side mission. It's one of those wonderfully bizarre *Borderlands* things that just makes you smile. It all starts with a scientist's dying wish, some ECHO log kicking off a quest to finish her antenna. Sounds simple, right? Gather parts, install 'em, get rewarded. But in *Borderlands*, simple never stays simple. You're tracking down a "tracking board" and a "signal loop," which sounds like something out of a quirky sci-fi flick. Once you get that antenna humming, get ready for a dramatic entrance from one Dunks Watson. A quick chat with him, and you're showered with XP and loot. It’s a short, weird, and totally fun little detour that just screams *Borderlands*. It’s the kind of thing that reminds you why we love this franchise so much.
