The Comms Sector in Garten of Banban 2 is a vital area that significantly advances the plot. Upon entering, the player is immediately met with an unsettling atmosphere and the ominous warning, "The spider is real," hinting at Nabnab’s arrival. The central part of this sector is the main communications center. Here, a mysterious voice from an intercom pleads for help, claiming to be trapped and promising aid in exchange for rescue. To progress, players must solve a puzzle involving colored desks and a "Punch Chart." Using their drone, they activate keycard panels on the desks in ascending order of scores on the chart. Successfully completing this unlocks a closet with a green keycard, needed for the Maintenance Room.
Within the Comms Sector, players can also find the office of Uthman Adam, the head researcher. Access to this secret room requires a red keycard, obtained through a series of steps involving a firework rocket. Inside, notes and whiteboards reveal the kindergarten’s experiments and the creation of the mascots. One note expresses distress over recent news but hopes for the success of "the six we processed." Another discusses plans to shut down the facility, deeming the witnessed events as something that "should not exist" and the casualties as for "the greater good." A third note mentions a subject "K6" in solitary confinement, only communicating with "Dr. WM," a request denied for safety. These documents offer crucial backstory into the kindergarten's downfall.
The Maintenance Room, accessed with the green keycard, is a large warehouse filled with shelves. Here, players use their drone to press three buttons, one protected by yellow glass that the drone must break. After solving this puzzle and obtaining a keycard, Nabnab appears, initiating a chase through the room. The player must escape this new threat by navigating the maze of shelves. After the encounter, the newly acquired keycard opens the Security Office. Inside, a note warns, "If you read this fast enough you might escape. i plan to sneak up on you and hit you very hard while you are occupied reading this note." True to the warning, the mysterious voice, revealed to be Banban, incapacitates the player. This cliffhanger concludes the Comms Sector, exposing the helpful voice as another dangerous inhabitant and setting the stage for the next part of the game. The player later wakes up in the Medical Sector, having been moved by Banban.
