Rayman Legends is a wonderfully animated 2D platformer, a true delight for the eyes and fingers. The gameplay itself is a fluid and fast-paced evolution of what made *Rayman Origins* so great. Up to four players can jump in for cooperative fun, exploring intricately designed levels brimming with secrets. The main goal is always to free those little Teensies, which in turn unlocks more of the game's colorful worlds. Besides Rayman and the lovable Globox, you'll find many unlockable Teensie characters, and even brave warriors like Barbara the Barbarian Princess join the fray. What truly makes *Rayman Legends* shine are its musical levels. These are pure, unadulterated joy where you leap, punch, and slide in perfect sync with catchy covers of famous songs. It's an electrifying mix of platforming and rhythm that you won't soon forget. And then there's "Gloo Gloo," a fantastic underwater musical level within the "20,000 Lums Under the Sea" world. The music here is a delightful take on "Woo Hoo," and the level itself is a thrilling chase. You're propelled through vibrant underwater scenery, dodging rhythmic swordfish and then, after a transition, you're above water, dodging helicopter bombs. It’s a masterclass in creative level design, demanding precision and keeping you on your toes. There's even a challenging 8-bit version to unlock, adding another layer of fun.
