Borderlands 2 is a first-person shooter that really mixes in some role-playing elements, made by Gearbox Software. It came out way back in 2012 and is set on this wild planet called Pandora, which is full of weird creatures, tough bandits, and of course, tons of loot. The game looks super unique too, with a cel-shaded style that makes it feel like you're playing in a comic book, and it doesn't shy away from being funny and a bit cheeky. You play as one of four Vault Hunters, each with their own special skills, all on a mission to stop the totally over-the-top villain, Handsome Jack, from doing something really bad with an alien vault. What makes Borderlands 2 so addictive is how much cool stuff you find, especially all the guns. There are millions of different guns, each with their own quirks, so you're always getting something new and exciting. It's also great to play with friends, up to four of you, where you can combine your powers and just cause mayhem together. "Blindsided" is one of those early missions in Borderlands 2 that really sets the tone for the whole game. It happens right after you've had a pretty rough time with Handsome Jack and you bump into Claptrap, the sassy robot sidekick. He needs your help to get his eye back, which a big, mean creature called Knuckle Dragger swiped. So, you're off to the Windshear Waste, a snowy area, to get it back. You have to help Claptrap out of the snow and then take on Knuckle Dragger. This fight is your first real taste of combat, showing you how to shoot and move strategically. Knuckle Dragger throws rocks and calls in smaller baddies when he's hurt, making it a fun challenge. Winning gets you Claptrap's eye and introduces you to the whole looting system, which is a huge part of Borderlands. Plus, Claptrap's funny comments keep things light even when you're in a firefight. This mission is a perfect introduction to what Borderlands 2 is all about: action, humor, and finding awesome gear.
