Borderlands 4

वर्णन

Borderlands 4, the highly anticipated continuation of the beloved looter-shooter series, launched on September 12, 2025. Gearbox Software and 2K have brought this installment to PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version forthcoming. The game unfolds six years after Borderlands 3, introducing the new planet Kairos. Players assume the roles of four fresh Vault Hunters—Rafa the Exo-Soldier, Harlowe the Gravitar, Amon the Forgeknight, and Vex the Siren—who find themselves on Kairos amidst a rebellion against the tyrannical Timekeeper. The world of Kairos is presented as a seamless open-world experience, a notable shift from previous games, allowing for fluid exploration across its four distinct regions. Enhanced traversal mechanics, including a grappling hook and gliding, contribute to more dynamic gameplay. The core loop of intense gunplay and acquiring outrageous weaponry, a hallmark of the Borderlands series, remains central, with extensive character customization through skill trees. In the diverse and perilous landscapes of Kairos, players may encounter Voraxis, the Quake Thresher, a formidable optional boss. This colossal Thresher is a significant challenge and one of the seven Auger Mine bosses, lurking in the Fadefields region within the Coastal Bonescape. To confront Voraxis, players must first complete the main story mission "Shadow of the Mountain," which unlocks the Abandoned Auger Mines. Voraxis awaits at the conclusion of Timid Kyle's Neglected Opening, situated on the southern shores of a lake. The battle demands constant vigilance; Voraxis unleashes devastating melee lunges and powerful bites. Maintaining distance is crucial for evading its attacks. The boss can also burrow underground, surprising players with assaults from unexpected directions, offering windows for damage on its exposed body sections. Its eyes represent critical weak points, and focusing fire there yields significant damage. Adding to the chaos, smaller Threshers periodically join the fray, and it's wise to keep one alive at low health as a potential lifeline for a Second Wind. Voraxis also hurls molten boulders that explode on impact, necessitating swift movement to avoid area-of-effect damage. Given Voraxis's flesh health bar, incendiary weapons are exceptionally effective. Defeating this beast rewards players with potent Legendary items like the "Darkbeast" SMG, the "Potato Thrower IV" assault rifle, and the "Buoy" grenade mod. The Darkbeast SMG offers a high fire rate and incendiary damage, with a chance to spread fire. The "Potato Thrower IV," a Torgue creation, fires explosive, potato-like projectiles dealing splash damage and capable of knocking back enemies. The "Buoy" grenade deploys a floating device that emits periodic shock pulses. Voraxis can be farmed for these legendary drops by using Moxxi's Big Encore Machine, accessible near the boss arena entrance, allowing players to re-engage the boss for a chance at ideal loot.
