I recently played the video game, Happy Ending: Displace Puzzle and reached Level 4, where the main character was found guilty of a crime. This was a disappointing turn in the game and left me feeling unsatisfied. The game has an interesting concept where players have to solve puzzles to help the main character, a detective, find the truth behind a series of crimes. Each level presents a new puzzle to solve and keeps the players engaged. The graphics and music were also well-designed, adding to the overall gaming experience. However, when I reached Level 4 and the main character was found guilty, I was taken aback. The game had built up the character as a righteous and intelligent detective, and it was hard to believe that he could be guilty of a crime. The game did not provide any backstory or explanation for this sudden twist, which made it feel forced and out of place. Furthermore, the guilt of the main character did not have any impact on the gameplay. It did not change the puzzles or the objectives, making it seem like an unnecessary addition to the storyline.
