ELEANOR & THE HEART - Final Boss Fight, Borderlands 3: Guns, Love, and Tentacles

Borderlands 3, a chaotic looter-shooter, expands its universe with "Guns, Love, and Tentacles," a Lovecraftian-themed DLC. The story culminates in the final boss fight against Eleanor and the monstrous Heart of Gythian, her corrupted partner, Vincent, in Heart's Desire. Eleanor, a researcher consumed by Gythian's influence, leads the Bonded cult. The fight is a two-part spectacle sharing a single health bar. Eleanor initially attacks with purple shards, summons cultists, and drains their health to create explosive projectiles. Once a third of their health is gone, Vincent, as The Heart, emerges, filling the arena with blood. The Heart, a mass of tentacles and vulnerable spikes, slams and drags tentacles, and spawns Krich if yellow bubbles aren’t destroyed. In the final phase, both Eleanor and The Heart attack simultaneously, combining their devastating abilities. Upon their defeat, Eleanor and Vincent share a tragic final embrace, ending their corrupted love. The Heart explodes, and the arena clears, leaving behind potential legendary loot for the victorious Vault Hunter.
