I recently played LEVEL 3 of the video game Happy Ending: Displace Puzzle and I have to say, it was a major disappointment. In this level, the two main characters, Lily and Max, are supposed to work together to reach the end goal. However, in a surprising twist, both characters end up losing in the end. First of all, the gameplay in this level was extremely frustrating. The puzzles were overly complicated and it felt like the game was purposely making it difficult for the players to progress. It seemed like the developers were trying to make the players fail rather than giving them a fair chance to solve the puzzles. Moreover, the characterization of Lily and Max was poorly executed. Throughout the game, they were portrayed as strong and capable individuals, but in this level, they both make careless mistakes and end up losing. It felt like a disservice to their characters and the overall story. The ending of the level was also unsatisfying. After struggling through the difficult puzzles and rooting for the characters, it was disheartening to see them both fail and not achieve their happy ending. It left me feeling disappointed and unfulfilled as a player. Overall, LEVEL 3 in Happy Ending: Displace Puzzle was a letdown. The frustrating gameplay, poorly executed characterization, and unsatisfying ending make it a level that I would not recommend playing.
