The primary goal becomes reclaiming Wastard's physical form, guarded by the Dragon Lord. This involves navigating Karnok's Wall, utilizing jump pads and strategically destroying Kwartz crystals to forge new paths. The ascent is defended by a variety of enemies, and players must repair a "skelevator" by finding and using a "Detect Magic" spell on scattered relics, all while fending off ambushes. The chapter culminates in a challenging, multi-phase boss battle against Wastard's animated body, controlled by the Dragon Lord. The fight tests players' understanding of elemental weaknesses and their ability to prioritize threats, particularly Wastard's spectral bird. Upon victory, Wastard's body is freed, and he bestows the crucial hex-dispelling ability upon the Fatemaker.
