The level’s path winds through bus bridges, the candy-collecting district of Kandytown, a unique snail race, a shadow theater puzzle, and challenging tongue-boarding sections. The Rock Bottom Museum serves as the climax and boss arena for Halloween Rock Bottom. Upon reaching the museum after the second tongue-boarding segment, players enter to face initial platforming challenges. The main area demands careful movement to land safely amidst multiple Spook Jellies, all of whom must be scared to activate a central switch. This switch opens the door to the boss fight. The museum also hides a Gold Doubloon behind a wall near the entrance and a Fake Dutchman collectible. The boss encounter pits SpongeBob against a giant, monstrous version of Gary the Snail. Mirroring the Spook Jellies, Giant Gary possesses a petrifying gaze. The battle escalates across multiple tiers within the museum, requiring players to use cover and time their movements to avoid Gary’s attacks while destroying vending machines on each level. After destroying three machines, Giant Gary is defeated, allowing SpongeBob to progress to the next Wishworld.
