These enemies hinder SpongeBob if they spot him, requiring players to carefully navigate around or sneak up on them. Scaring them away is necessary to access a central switch, which opens the path to the level boss. Before the boss fight, a gold doubloon can be found hidden behind a wall directly beneath the player's initial landing spot.
