Borderlands 3: Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot plunges players into a lavish, yet decaying, casino station controlled by an AI of Handsome Jack. Amidst the neon and slot machines, players encounter Freddie, a Hyperion engineer with a penchant for loader bots and a truly spectacular mullet. Initially appearing helpful, Freddie's devotion to his mechanical companions and his isolation post-Jack's demise shape his peculiar personality. However, his true colors emerge when he betrays the Vault Hunters for a better offer from Pretty Boy, becoming "Freddie the Traitor." This betrayal leads to a boss fight in the VIP Tower, where Freddie relies on his beloved loader bots, Petunia and Dandelion, to do his fighting. Though ultimately defeated, Freddie’s "AutoAimè" sniper rifle remains a valuable, albeit ironic, reminder of his time on the Handsome Jackpot.
