To access Lagoon Landing, SpongeBob must first acquire the pirate costume, earned upon completing the previous world, Karate Downtown Bikini Bottom. Lagoon Landing is a treasure trove of collectibles, particularly Gold Doubloons, the in-game currency used to unlock SpongeBob's many whimsical costumes.
