Instead of a friendly companion or a fearsome protector, a grotesque Abomination is brought to life, immediately lamenting its painful existence. The humor here lies in the rapid shift from optimistic creation to immediate regret and the necessity of a mercy killing. The player is then forced to destroy their own creation, a darkly comedic twist on the classic monster-making trope. The mission concludes with Sparrow and Grouse blaming each other for the failure, providing a satisfyingly chaotic and memorable experience that perfectly aligns with Borderlands 3's over-the-top nature.
