After battling through COV forces and defeating Big Donny at his chop shop, the Vault Hunter acquires his distinct "Golden Chariot." This unique vehicle is the only way to gain access to the festival grounds. Upon entering Carnivora, described as a chaotic gathering of psychos, the player discovers the entire festival is perched atop a massive, mobile fortress. This enormous vehicle, also named Carnivora, becomes the next obstacle. A thrilling chase ensues, requiring the Vault Hunter to strategically disable the moving fortress by targeting its fuel lines, transmission, and fuel tank while fending off escort vehicles. Destroying these points eventually halts the colossal machine, revealing an entry point into its interior, the "Guts of Carnivora." Inside, the Vault Hunter fights through maze-like sections populated by COV bandits, eventually reaching the main arena. Before the confrontation, players can choose humorous intro music. The climax of the chapter is a boss fight against the Agonizer 9000, a formidable mech piloted by Pain and Terror. This challenging encounter demands constant movement to avoid its various deadly attacks like spiked boards, saw blades, and sweeping lasers. Defeating the Agonizer and its pilots allows the Vault Hunter to finally rescue Tannis. A significant revelation follows as Tannis demonstrates previously unknown Siren powers, explaining her survival. Completing the mission rewards the player with experience, cash, a powerful artifact, and the Jet Booster vehicle part, setting the stage for future conflicts with the Calypso Twins.
