After securing the piece, the Vault Hunter confronts Aurelia Hammerlock, a Cryo-focused boss, in a tense showdown within the estate. Defeating her opens the path to the hidden Vault. Solving a puzzle involving statues in ancient ruins reveals the entrance to The Floating Tomb, where the Vault is located. Inside, Tannis assembles the Vault Key, which awakens the Vault guardians, Grave and Ward. After defeating these initial enemies, the colossal Vault Monster, The Graveward, emerges. This boss requires players to exploit its glowing weak spots while dodging its devastating attacks. Upon defeating The Graveward, the Vault opens, offering a substantial loot haul of powerful gear. Crucially, this Vault also yields the Eridian Synchronizer, unlocking the Artifact slot for the player and allowing them to equip game-changing Eridian Artifacts from that point forward. After looting the Vault and a final conversation with Tannis in the ruins, the mission's final objective is to return to the Sanctuary III spaceship. Speaking with Lilith on the bridge concludes the mission, reporting the successful opening of the Eden-6 Vault and the acquisition of the Artifact, while also setting up the narrative implications of Tannis's capture that immediately follows these events.
