Going Rogue - Agent Quietfoot | Borderlands 3 | As Moze, Walkthrough, No Commentary
Borderlands 3
Description
Borderlands 3 is a chaotic and humorous first-person shooter known for its distinctive cel-shaded graphics, expansive loot system, and irreverent tone. Players step into the boots of one of four unique Vault Hunters, each with their own distinct abilities and playstyles, as they journey across multiple planets to stop the fanatical Calypso Twins from harnessing the power of the galaxy's Vaults. The game excels at providing a constant stream of unique and powerful weapons, encouraging exploration and combat through its core looter-shooter mechanics.
The "Going Rogue" mission in Borderlands 3 takes players deep into the Ambermire of Eden-6, a swampy and hazardous region, as they hunt for a missing Vault Key fragment. The mission cleverly utilizes a unique weapon, the Rogue-Sight pistol, to guide the player. This pistol has a special ability to reveal hidden "Rogue-Sight marks" when aiming, which can highlight hidden items or indicate interactable objects necessary to progress.
The primary objective is to track down missing agents who were tasked with retrieving the fragment. Players are sent to find Agent Archimedes, Agent Dee (Agent Dee Double Seven), Agent Quietfoot, and Agent Domino. Each agent's trail leads to a mini-narrative and combat encounter, often revealed through the use of the Rogue-Sight marks. Finding Agent Quietfoot involves checking two dead drops, which are mailboxes marked with the special symbol. These clues eventually lead the player to The Mudnecks' Hideout. Upon arriving, pulling a lever triggers a trap, revealing the Mud Neck Clan. After defeating the ambush, Agent Quietfoot's ID is found within a dropped cage, a grim indicator of their fate.
The search for all the agents' IDs culminates in a revelation at Rogue's Hollow, where the traitor is uncovered. The mission then leads to a boss fight against the Anointed Archimedes, who proves to be a fast and mobile enemy. Defeating him finally yields the sought-after Vault Key fragment, allowing the player to return to Sanctuary and complete the mission, earning XP, money, and a unique assault rifle as rewards. "Going Rogue" serves as a good example of Borderlands 3's mission design, blending environmental exploration, unique mechanics, character interactions, and combat encounters to advance the main storyline.
