As they infiltrate the den, players must engage in stealth or combat tactics to neutralize several Scavengers guarding the area. The quest emphasizes player choice, allowing for different approaches to confrontations. Ultimately, V locates Sandra in a bathtub and must use an AirHypo to revive her. After removing a GPS jammer to enable a Trauma Team response, V and Jackie carry Sandra to safety. However, on their way back, they face an ambush from more Scavengers, testing their combat skills once again. Completing "The Rescue" not only provides a sense of accomplishment and rewards experience points but also deepens the narrative connections between characters, particularly highlighting the bond between V and Jackie.
