Episode 25 - The Ice Key (Gold Medal) | Kingdom Chronicles | Walkthrough, Gameplay, No Commentary
Kingdom Chronicles
Description
Kingdom Chronicles is a captivating time-management and strategy game developed by Aliasworlds, set in a vibrant medieval fantasy world. Players follow the hero, John Brave, who returns from a voyage to find his homeland ravaged by the tyrant Moomrabac. To rescue the royal family and restore his kingdom, the player must master resource allocation, infrastructure repair, and tactical combat across 40 challenging episodes.
Episode 25, "The Ice Key," stands out as a sophisticated test of economic management. The narrative objective is to recover the ancient Ice Key from the Frozen Glade, a necessary artifact for accessing Fire Mountain. However, before revealing the site of the Stone Circle required to retrieve the key, an Elder demands a tribute of 20 gold. This level is defined by its scarcity of resources, forcing players to abandon traditional gathering in favor of a complex, trade-centric economy.
To secure a Gold Medal, players must operate with extreme efficiency. The strategy begins by clearing initial obstacles to upgrade the worker’s hut, maximizing the available labor force. Priority is then shifted to constructing a lumber mill, which serves as the economic engine of the map. Because gold and stone are limited, the player must consistently trade wood for gold with the merchant on the left and food for stone with the merchant on the right.
Maintaining this momentum requires the strategic use of magical skills. The "Produce" skill is essential to keep wood output at triple speed, ensuring a constant supply of goods for trade. Simultaneously, players must deploy the "Run" and "Work" speed-boosting skills to accelerate navigation and construction. By balancing the production of raw materials with disciplined trade loops, the player can meet the Elder’s gold requirement, build the Stone Circle, and obtain the Ice Key before the expert time limit expires. Episode 25 represents the pinnacle of the game’s strategic depth, proving that success lies not just in manual labor, but in the intelligent manipulation of supply chains to overcome environmental adversity.
