Episode 7: Farmers' Valley | Kingdom Chronicles | Walkthrough, Gameplay, No Commentary
Kingdom Chronicles
Description
Kingdom Chronicles, developed by Aliasworlds, is a captivating time-management and strategy game that tasks players with resource gathering, building, and completing fast-paced objectives. The game follows the hero John Brave as he returns to his homeland to find it usurped by the tyrant Moomrabac, who has imprisoned the royal family. Players guide John through 40 challenging levels to rebuild the realm and rescue the princess.
One pivotal stage in this journey is Episode 7, titled Farmers' Valley. The narrative premise centers on a deal: if John restores the ruined lands, the local farmers will help him locate a magical artifact known as the Running Boots. To clear this level, players must rebuild five farms, repair four sections of road, amass 200 units of food, and uncover the boots.
From a strategic standpoint, Farmers' Valley introduces a unique economic hurdle. There is no lumber mill on the map, forcing players to rely on a local trader who exchanges wood for stone. Success requires upgrading the worker’s hut, clearing debris to reach the quarry, and establishing a rhythm of trading stone for the wood needed for construction. Players must systematically repair the five farms before shifting their focus to the food collection goal.
The climax involves finding the Running Boots, which are concealed beneath a large gray rock located near the menu button. Removing this obstacle is resource-intensive, requiring two workers, 30 food, and 6 gold. Activating the "Work Skill" is highly recommended here to reduce the labor time. Once unearthed, the boots unlock the "Run Skill," which doubles the movement speed of the workers. This skill is instrumental in the final push to harvest the remaining crops needed to hit the 200-food target. Successfully managing these tasks rewards the player with a gold medal and grants a permanent upgrade for future chapters. Interestingly, this level leaves such a lasting impression that the game’s Collector’s Edition even includes a bonus stage, "Extra Episode 2: Destroy Farmers' Valley," providing a chaotic, destructive twist on the lands the player once worked so diligently to restore.
