Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world action RPG set in the dystopian Night City, a vibrant yet dangerous metropolis filled with advanced technology, cybernetic enhancements, and a diverse cast of characters. Players assume the role of V, a customizable mercenary navigating the intricacies of this cyberpunk universe while pursuing various quests that intertwine with the city’s factions and lore. One significant mission is "The Rescue," a main job given to V by the fixer Wakako Okada. In this quest, V teams up with their partner Jackie Welles and T-Bug, a skilled netrunner, to locate and retrieve a missing woman named Sandra Dorsett, whose biomonitor signal has gone dark. The search leads them to a Scavenger Den, where Sandra is held captive and subjected to the grim fate of being targeted for organ harvesting. The mission begins with a thrilling montage of V's exploits alongside Jackie. Once they arrive at the den, players must navigate through various rooms, employing stealth or combat skills to deal with Scavenger enemies. The tension escalates as they confront the Scavenger Leader, who poses a significant threat due to his heavy weaponry. Successfully neutralizing the threats, V discovers Sandra in a bathtub, unconscious and in dire need of medical attention. Using an AirHypo, V stabilizes Sandra just in time for the arrival of Trauma Team, ensuring her extraction. However, the mission doesn't end there; as V and Jackie make their escape, they are ambushed by more Scavengers, leading to an intense shootout. Upon completing the mission, players experience a narrative that sets the stage for future developments in Night City, showcasing the game's rich storytelling and dynamic gameplay mechanics.
