Dan the Man: Action Platformer is a popular side-scrolling game known for its retro-style graphics and engaging gameplay. Developed by Halfbrick Studios, it blends classic platformer mechanics with modern twists, offering players a mix of combat, exploration, and humorous storytelling as they control Dan, a hero saving his village. The game features various modes beyond the main campaign, including Battle Stages that offer additional challenges and rewards. Battle Stage B3, known as PVER PASSVVM, is an optional level found in World 2 of Dan the Man's Normal Mode campaign. These stages are essentially arena-based survival challenges where players must defeat waves of enemies. In B3 PVER PASSVVM, the objective is to clear three distinct arenas. Completing all three earns the first star. Additional stars are awarded based on the player's score: the second star at 50,000 points and the third at 75,000 points. Successfully navigating the challenges of this battle stage rewards players with a small treasure chest containing 250 Gold. Before tackling the PVER PASSVVM arenas, players pass through a vortex shop, offering opportunities to use power-ups or purchase discounted items to aid in the upcoming fights. Battle Stages in Dan the Man are unique in that they can feature enemies from both Normal and Hard difficulty settings, regardless of the current game mode. Unlike main story levels, there is no 'continue' screen if the player is defeated or runs out of time in PVER PASSVVM. The stage name, PVER PASSVVM, is presented in Latin, a characteristic of all main story battle stage names. A Hard Mode version of B3 exists in World 2, named VICTOS MEDICAMENTIS VTI, featuring four arenas and different point requirements for stars, but also awarding 250 Gold.
