Funeral | God of War | Walkthrough, Gameplay, No Commentary, HDR
Description
I recently played the highly acclaimed video game, God of War, and I have to say that I was disappointed by the funeral scene in the game.
First of all, the funeral lacked emotional impact. The main character, Kratos, was supposed to be mourning the death of his wife and mother of his son, yet his expression and actions felt flat and emotionless. I was expecting to feel a sense of grief and loss, but instead, I felt disconnected from the scene.
Furthermore, the funeral felt rushed and underdeveloped. It was over in a matter of minutes and did not allow for any meaningful character development or exploration of Kratos' emotions. It felt like a mere plot point rather than a significant moment in the game.
In addition, the funeral scene lacked any memorable or impactful dialogue. The few lines spoken during the scene were forgettable and did not add any depth to the characters or their relationships.
Overall, the funeral scene in God of War was a missed opportunity for the game to showcase its emotional depth and character development. It felt like a superficial and poorly executed attempt at evoking emotion, which ultimately fell flat.
Aside from the funeral scene, I have to say that God of War is an exceptional game. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay is fluid and engaging, and the story is captivating. The game follows Kratos, a former Greek god, as he embarks on a journey with his son to fulfill his wife's final wish.
The game is set in the world of Norse mythology, which is a refreshing change from the previous games in the series. The combat system has been revamped, and the addition of Kratos' son, Atreus, adds a new dynamic to the gameplay.
The relationship between Kratos and Atreus is one of the highlights of the game. Their interactions and character development throughout the game are well-written and believable. It was interesting to see Kratos, known for his brutality, soften as he learns to be a father and mentor to his son.
Another aspect of the game that stood out to me was the stunning soundtrack. The music perfectly captures the epic and emotional moments of the game, adding to the overall immersive experience.
In conclusion, while the funeral scene in God of War was a disappointment, the rest of the game is a masterpiece. It is a must-play for fans of action-adventure games and Norse mythology. The game has a gripping story, engaging gameplay, and unforgettable characters, making it one of the best games of this generation.
