Chapter 2, "Near Main Street," propels the New Kid into the heart of the snowy South Park streets, now controlled by Stan Marsh, the Barbarian King of the Marshwalkers. The objective is to confront Stan, who is believed to have cast an "Endless Winter" spell. The chapter begins with an immediate encounter with Stan and his forces, where Cartman attempts to assert his authority. Stan, wielding a powerful magical axe, easily defeats the New Kid, demonstrating a significant power advantage. Realizing a direct confrontation is impossible, Cartman tasks the New Kid with finding a way to counter Stan's strength. This leads to a scavenger hunt for a component to repair a broken catapult, with the comically discovered item being used condoms. This mission takes players through various locations, including the police station, while battling Stan's minions. Gameplay here emphasizes fast-paced combat against shielded enemies and introduces environmental hazards like "the floor is lava," forcing players to stay on elevated paths. Henrietta the goth can be found to provide bonus cards. The chapter concludes with a boss fight against Princess Kenny, serving as a challenging test before the quest to match Stan's power.
