Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG set in the 1800s wizarding world. Players create their own fifth-year Hogwarts student, attending classes, exploring the castle and surrounding areas, and uncovering a hidden, dangerous secret. "The Locket's Secret" is an early main quest. Following a troll attack in Hogsmeade, the player reports back to Professor Fig, who reveals he's made a discovery about the mysterious locket found in Gringotts. The inscription on the locket speaks of a map leading to the Restricted Section of the Hogwarts library. However, Professor Fig deems the player needs further training in defensive magic before venturing there. This leads to Professor Hecat's assignment where you learn the Incendio spell by completing certain objectives in the clocktower and returning to Professor Hecat in the end. With this new skill, the player is one step closer to uncovering the secrets hidden within the Restricted Section.
