Hogwarts Legacy immerses players in the 1800s wizarding world as a new fifth-year student. Among the many classes to attend, Potions stands out as a crucial skill to learn. Located in the Library Annex, the Potions Classroom, under the tutelage of Professor Sharp, becomes a hub of bubbling cauldrons and alchemic experimentation. The Potions Class quest begins with instruction on brewing Wiggenweld Potion, a vital healing concoction. Players learn to crush ingredients, add Dittany and Horklump Juice, and stir the cauldron. Following this, Professor Sharp tasks the player with brewing Edurus Potion. Players must gather Ashwinder Eggs and Dark Mongrel Fur, sometimes with the added task of acquiring a Fwooper Feather for the mischievous Garreth Weasley. Once the ingredients are collected, students use a Potions Station to brew the Edurus Potion. Successfully brewing the potion and presenting it to Professor Sharp marks the culmination of the lesson, opening up new crafting possibilities and furthering the player's journey through Hogwarts.
