Hogwarts Legacy immerses players in the 1800s wizarding world as a new student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As players progress, they attend classes and complete assignments for their professors. One such task is Professor Sharp's Assignment 1, a quest designed to test the player's potion-brewing and combat skills. Professor Sharp tasks the player with acquiring and using three potions: a Focus Potion, a Maxima Potion, and an Edurus Potion. The player must purchase these potions or their recipes from J. Pippin's Potions in Hogsmeade, requiring a significant amount of gold. The challenge lies in strategically using the potions. The Focus Potion enhances spellcasting abilities, while the Maxima and Edurus Potions must be consumed simultaneously to bolster attack power and defense. Once the task is completed, the player returns to Professor Sharp during the day in the Potions classroom to learn Depulso, a powerful banishing charm.
