Hogwarts Legacy immerses players in a fantastical 1800s wizarding world, where they attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As a fifth-year student, players attend various classes and complete assignments to hone their magical abilities. One such task is Professor Onai's Assignment. Professor Onai, the Divination professor, tasks the player with two objectives. First, the student must acquire a Troll Bogey by defeating a troll. These hulking creatures can be found in various regions of the Highlands. Once a troll is defeated, the needed ingredient will be obtained. The second objective requires the player to cast Depulso, a force spell, on a levitated enemy. This can be done by first using a spell like Levioso or Accio to suspend an enemy in the air and then quickly following up with Depulso. Upon completing these tasks, the player must return to Professor Onai during the day to attend Divination class. After the lesson, speaking with Professor Onai rewards the player with the Descendo spell, which slams opponents to the ground. This assignment not only grants a new spell but also reinforces the importance of practical spellcasting and exploration within the game's open-world environment.
