The ultimate goal is to locate and secure the Mermish artifact, a gift intended for Nerida by the merpeople of the Black Lake. Upon returning the artifact, Nerida expresses her gratitude, believing it will aid her in fostering better relations between wizards and merpeople. Completing this "soggy adventure" rewards the player with the Mermish Liaison Uniform, a unique outfit symbolizing an understanding of the merpeople culture and helping the quest giver.
