Wildlife Preservation | Borderlands 2

Borderlands 2 is a first-person shooter RPG set on Pandora, a planet teeming with danger and dark humor. The "Wildlife Preservation" mission thrusts players into the Hyperion Wildlife Exploitation Preserve, a facility conducting horrific experiments on creatures. The objective is to rescue Mordecai's bird companion, Bloodwing, who has been mutated by Handsome Jack's experiments. Players navigate treacherous terrain, battle Hyperion forces and aggressive fauna, and ultimately face a transformed, slagged Bloodwing. While players successfully retrieve a vital component from her, the mission culminates in a tragic turn when Jack kills Bloodwing. An accompanying side mission, "Animal Rights," allows players to liberate captive creatures, turning them against their captors and highlighting the game's themes of exploitation and revenge.
