EPISODE 12: IT WON'T FLY! (Short 5), TMNT Shredder's Revenge

I recently played Episode 12 of the TMNT: Shredder's Revenge video game titled "It Won't Fly!" and I have to say, I was quite disappointed. The episode felt short and lacked the excitement and action that I have come to expect from this game. First, let's talk about the gameplay. As always, the controls were smooth and easy to use, but the level design felt repetitive and uninspired. It felt like I was just going through the motions and there was nothing new or challenging to keep me engaged. The enemies were also unimpressive and seemed to just be there to fill space rather than provide a real challenge. Moreover, the storyline in this episode was weak. The Turtles' mission to stop Shredder from using a stolen jetpack just didn't have the same level of intensity and urgency as previous episodes. It almost felt like a filler episode rather than a crucial part of the game's plot. One of my biggest complaints about this episode was the lack of boss battle. Every episode in this game has had a unique and exciting boss fight, but in "It Won't Fly!", there was no boss to defeat. This was a major letdown and left me feeling like I didn't accomplish much by the end of the episode. On a positive note, the graphics and sound in this game continue to impress. The pixel art style and retro music perfectly capture the essence of the classic TMNT cartoons, and it's always a delight to see the familiar characters and locations brought to life in this game. Overall, I was disappointed with Episode 12 of TMNT: Shredder's Revenge. It lacked the excitement and depth that I have come to expect from this game, and it felt like a missed opportunity to further develop the storyline and challenge players. I hope that the next episode will bring back the excitement and fun that this game is known for.
