The planet’s environment varies between dimensions: Rivet’s realm has a temperate climate, while the alternate dimension turns icy and snowy. Central to the story is Juice, a bio-electric creature discovered deep in Cordelion’s oceans. Its ability to generate immense electricity powers the Forge. To craft the new Dimensionator, Ratchet and Rivet work together, navigating flooded tunnels and securing energy sources, ultimately forging the device through cooperation and understanding amidst the planet’s dark, experimental history.
