The level board has 81 spaces and features five different candy colors, which makes creating special candies more challenging. Obstacles include licorice swirls, licorice locks, marmalade, and one-layered, three-layered, and four-layered toffee swirls. Players are given UFOs and candy cannons to assist them. A significant difficulty in Level 2361 is that all the required licorice and toffee swirls start hidden under marmalade or licorice locks. Although a UFO is available, players must first clear space for it to become active. This level has been redesigned multiple times, initially featuring three candy colors and UFOs before being made harder by increasing the number of colors to four and then five. Past iterations included popcorn blockers, which some players noted were difficult to clear without boosters.
