EMPOWERED SCHOLAR - Boss Fight (Short 3), Borderlands 3: Guns, Love, and Tentacles

Within this expansion, the Empowered Scholar serves as a significant boss fight during the mission "The Case of Wainwright Jakobs." This Bonded cult member is sent to the Dustbound Archives on Xylourgos to eliminate the Vault Hunter seeking a cure for Wainwright. The encounter is multi-phased. The Scholar attacks with magma and summons allies, becoming invulnerable and regenerating health from floating Shards that must be destroyed quickly.
