Chapter 2 - Hebeth (Short 3), DOOM: The Dark Ages

DOOM: The Dark Ages is a brutal prequel to the modern DOOM series, launching in May 2025. This "techno-medieval" first-person shooter sees the Doom Slayer become Hell's ultimate bane in a grounded, strategic combat experience featuring new weapons like the Shield Saw and pilotable vehicles. Chapter 2, "Hebeth," plunges the Slayer into a desperate defense of the Trans-Dimensional Barrier. Players acquire the Shield Saw, a versatile tool for offense and defense, and learn its "Superheated" mechanic to shatter enemy armor. Navigating the Weapons Facility and Research Lab, the Slayer confronts new foes like Stone Imps and Nightmare Imp Stalkers, and the formidable Mancubus.
